Do you enjoy working with children? Are you excited to work in an environment contributing towards childrens learning? If yes, this course is for you.
Our popular courses explore how to work in a school setting as a teaching assistant. Teaching assistants support teachers and help children with their educational and social development. Typical responsibilities may include listening to children read, helping those in need of additional support, preparing the classroom and supporting the teacher to plan activities.
Gain the knowledge and skills you need to help pupils get the most from every lesson. It could be the start of a new career!
Our programme offer includes:
Introduction to Teaching Assistant
Preparing to Work in Schools Level 1
Supporting Teaching and Learning Levels 2 and 3
Please note that learners are required to have a work placement (either paid or voluntary) to enrol onto the level 2 and 3 courses.
Whilst I was already in work, I decided now was the time for a change so I enrolled on to a level 2 teaching assistant course. It's the best thing I could have done.
