Lifelong learning and community engagement

If you want to study English, we offer classes that help you to learn English and achieve a recognised qualification.

We have a variety of courses, at different levels, that will give you recognised qualifications as well as practical skills to help in everyday life. To enrol on to one of these courses, you will need to attend an introductory course to determine the right level for you.

We also offer GCSE English and you can join our ‘Get Ready for GCSE English’ course. Enrolment on to the full GCSE course requires you to attend the introductory course for a skills check.

Coming to English classes has really helped me to improve my writing. As a care worker I have to write reports at work. I used to worry about what to write but now I feel more confident about writing. My reports are more detailed and accurate; I am doing better at work.
