Cost of Living Crisis

Do you, or someone you know, need support with the cost of living?

Kicking off the new year will feel a little different for some, especially if you are struggling to keep up with the skyrocketing cost-of-living.

Lots of people across the borough are being forced to make the decision of whether to heat or eat, which is why we’re working with community partners to support you through this really difficult time.

Our message is simple: if you’re worried about how to make ends meet, or know someone who is, you’re not alone. Please reach out for support and advice.

From help with sorting your finances and making sure you have access to benefits, emergency money, and low-cost loans, to linking you with local food banks, and mental health support – there’s lots of help available.

While we might not have the answer to everything, you can speak to someone in your local area who’ll be there to listen and connect you to support. Or alternatively, you can call 020 8215 3000.

There are also lots of warm spaces across the borough you can use. They’re places you can go to meet up with other people, have a cup of tea and stay warm, so you don’t have to put the heating on at home.
