Our commitment to making our site as accessible as possible and providing a way for users to report issues.

This accessibility statement applies to https://adultcollege.lbbd.gov.uk/

The website is run by the Adult College of Barking and Dagenham. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. You should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen.
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using recognition software.
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader

We have also written the content of the website in plain English where possible, so it is easy to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • most older PDFs are not accessible
  • some videos do not have captions
  • some images may contain text

We are working towards reducing the number of PDF and Word documents and making as many as possible available on the website itself in HTML format or online forms. Any that do remain will be run through accessibility tools to ensure their compliance.
