Empowering Employees to Manage Screen Time and Communication for Optimal Well-being

Flexibility during remote work set up is often threatened by factors that might affect well-being. For example, longer screen time hours could be harmful to employees.

That is why I recently shared with you a data-driven piece that aims to inform about Encouraging Responsible Screen Time for Employees. 

Did you know that 50% of people look at screens for 11+ hours per day, while over 25% look at screens for 14+ hours per day? A key contributor is remote work – 25% of people say their screen time has increased because of work.

Away from the hassle of transporting from home to office and vice versa, the remote work arrangement is exciting to do. But there are ways to make it more exciting and, at the same time, healthy for employees, such as:

  • Managers encouraging responsible screen time and usage of valuable equipment such as a laptop stand to have an eye-level interaction with the screen
